.:things I love most in this world:.

I've been very depressed lately an it's hard to find the good in anything when that happens so to try to bring myself out of it I wanted to think of the things I love the most. Anything that can make me appreciate life just as it is. Not worse, not better but what I see in it.
When your sad, it's not as easy as it sounds. That doesn't mean I'm going to give up. I just have to work on it.

Start:
First thing today:
I love when my kitty's frenzied purring slows down to barely a hum because she fell asleep on me.
Then starts right up again when I rub her belly.

It may not seem like much but when you take a tiny step toward being happy: it helps.

.:rainbows are visions, but only illusions:.

.:rainbows are visions, but only illusions:.

I love movies. I love how beautiful they can be. How they can stay with me forever. The pictures are always floating through me. Even the music to movies can pull me into a magical world. I've watched the muppets seasons many times and have grown to love it and Jim Henson. He was a pretty amazing guy and tragic he died so young at 53. He started the muppets back in the 50s and the new movie I feel was a real homage to him. I loved the new Muppet movie for many reasons. Today I just want to share how much i loved Amy Adams Paris dream proposal costume. Very Regency style and perfect on her. Oh, how i wish i could wear Regency clothes every day.  Okay, maybe I'll share my other fave parts in The Muppets movie. When Kermit and crew sing rainbow connection. I actually get teary eyed. And at the end, which i will not spoil for I know you will go and see The Muppets, right?

Why are there so many songs about rainbows
and what's on the other side?
Rainbows are visions, but only illusions,
and rainbows have nothing to hide.
So we've been told and some choose to believe it.
I know they're wrong, wait and see.
Someday we'll find it, the rainbow connection.
The lovers, the dreamers and me.

Who said that every wish would be heard
and answered when wished on the morning star?
Somebody thought of that and someone believed it.
Look what it's done so far.
What's so amazing that keeps us star gazing
and what do we think we might see?
Someday we'll find it, the rainbow connection.
The lovers, the dreamers and me.

All of us under its spell. We know that it's probably magic.

Have you been half asleep and have you heard voices?
I've heard them calling my name.
Is this the sweet sound that called the young sailors.
The voice might be one and the same.
I've heard it too many times to ignore it.
It's something that I'm supposed to be.
Someday we'll find it, the rainbow connection.
The lovers, the dreamers and me.

Far off places, daring sword fights, magic spells, a prince in disguise!

.:Far off places, daring sword fights, magic spells, a prince in disguise!:.

On Sunday, the 29th, My sister Summer took me to see Broadway's Best of Disney's Beauty and the Beast. It was so wonderful! I actually got a little teary eyed. First we went to dinner @ Clinkerdagger's, which was super delicious, and then headed to the show. We were princesses for the evening! It truly was magical. Emily Behny played Belle, and she was perfect. Some of my favorite parts were the tavern song where the cast clinked mugs together and progressively got faster. Then of course, Be our guest. When they shot streamers into the crowd there were plenty of oohs and awwws, but also more than a few startled hearts. We were almost close enough to be sprinkled with the shining streamers. Naturally, there was a standing ovation. I couldn't have asked for a better evening spent with my sister. I had such a wonderful and enchanting night. Thank you!!

.:see! the mountains kiss high heaven:.

Love's Philosophy
by Percy Bysshe Shelley
The fountains mingle with the river,
And the rivers with the ocean;
The winds of heaven mix forever,
With a sweet emotion;
Nothing in the world is single;
All things by a law divine
In one another's being mingle;--
Why not I with thine?

See! the mountains kiss high heaven,
And the waves clasp one another;
No sister flower would be forgiven,
If it disdained it's brother;
And the sunlight clasps the earth,
And the moonbeams kiss the sea;--
What are all these kissings worth,
If thou kiss not me?
......:::Nine years ago today Brad and I started hanging out and never stopped. We weren't looking for love but it hit us like lightning. He took me all around town today, mimicking the first month we started hanging out as friends and ended up as a couple. It was romantic and sweet and Im so grateful to be with him. Above is a picture of the flowers he got me. Its not a bouquet of red roses. No, I have always loved baby's breath. Yes, these are not baby's breath, the store was out ^_^ but they are white and thats what he always gets me, white flowers. Even in my wedding I had white for my bouquet and it was gorgeous. Love definitely is a many splendored thing:::.........

.:stopping by woods on a snowy evening:.

Stopping By Woods on a Snowy Evening
Whose woods these are I think I know.
His house is in the village though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow.

My little horse must think it queer
To stop without a farmhouse near
Between the woods and frozen lake
The darkest evening of the year.

He gives his harness bells a shake
To ask if there is some mistake.
The only other sound's the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake.

The woods are lovely, dark and deep.
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.
~Robert Frost

It started snowing. thats a picture outside front door.
Thats it. I dont have much to say on the matter. Im a sunshine girl. But during winter months i do think much more often on poetry. Robert Frost is one of my favorites since i was a little girl. I still have my first poetry book of his. You come too.  It was a scholastic book. I guess its incentive to get some snow shoes, and go to the mountains. Brad skis and snowboards
but i never have. Ill do this first.

..:beautiful shadowed seacoast:..

..:beautiful shadowed seacoast:..

Well. Now that ive officially done a blog, i guess i should make a correction. in actual meaning, orabelle means beautiful seacoast.  for my first blog i wanted simplicity. and i did that. its still correct but thinking about, im okay with a little mystery and enchantment as well. well so orabelle : beautiful seacoast, ombre: shadow, makes to me, a beautiful shadowed seacoast.. captivating right?
I have pictures in my mind constantly. Whether they are of a beautiful image shown above or a piece of art from either an amateur or professional. The tilt of head or the expression on a face. it can be mesmerizing trying to imagine what the person is thinking or feeling. Some may say its just a picture. To me it is expression. Could be of many things. of love, despair, joy, fear. Its also the feeling the images evoke. Such as when you view the above picture taken from http://www.julietmarillier.com For me its longing, serenity. Maybe those feelings contradict each other. I feel a longing to be there breathing the fresh air with green literally in the wind. The serenity of the water lapping at the edge, the sound trickling in my heart. Yes, images invade my waking mind. I think its where a person can soar in imagination. I wonder what you feel when you see this picture?
Maybe next time ill share some of my favorite art from my two favorite artists, and my reasons behind why they are my favorite. Till next time.....

.:beautiful shadow:.

.:beautiful shadow:.

orabelle means beautiful. ombre means shadow. I've never made a blog before, but i thought it would be a fun way beyond all of the other social networking sites that i could stay close to the ones that i love that are far away and also share a bit about myself that they may or may not know about me....I hope you all enjoy , but also that i find some enjoyment as well. Lately it has been very important to me to try to stay true to myself and what i know and believe to be right. Its about feeling confident in who i am am. Not proving myself to anyone. Except for my faith and devotion to Jehovah, and not because others will see but because it is who i am. Simply. Not out of malice or stubbornness, but a desire to be stress free. It is my choice to have my own opinions and likes and dislikes. Anyone joining me here can always do the same and always kindly remember to receive the same from others as well......
okay. done.
Above is a picture of olivia de Havilland in The Adventures of Robin Hood. This is one of my favorite movies and if you have never seen it you need to find a copy and watch it. Have you ever seen Disney's Robin Hood? That was based off of this 1938 film. Its beautiful and joyful. so i thought it fitting for my first post about myself. Enjoy.......
